Less than 36 hours to go in the derby people. I went out last night and caught nothing but water. I did enjoy a bottle of whiskey with Ben, Dave Cole, his homeboy Will, and Robin Shulman. I’m still determined to catch one more fish, I don’t really care what size now; I can’t let the season go and I’m heading south next weekend to catch up with the stripers down at the Indian River Inlet. But the derby still has life and it looks as though the smaller fish have moved on and the bigger ones have moved in, with maybe a decreased frequency in the bite, but a chance at bigger fish. I’ll be back out there tonight.
Also, I want to give a formal shout to all of our sponsors who helped us out this year. We couldn’t have done this without them.
